Keep up-to-date with our British-Israel web blog updates!
GREETINGS FROM HEADQUARTERS
We are well into the cold weather months and we hope that everyone is keeping ahead of the snow and staying warm. We had the roof of the front porch repaired and reshingled which improves the looks and should eliminate the dampness in the front corner of the basement.
BOOKROOM NEWS:
In spite of the economic slowdown, we are receiving orders for books and CD’s on a regular basis. We have had several orders and inquiries from people in various parts of the world, several of whom are new to our message.
MEMBER NEWS:
David Anthony, a member from Michigan and a long-time member of Windsor branch, passed away on October 31, 2008 after a year-long battle with cancer. We offer condolences to his family.
We would like to hear from any of our members who would be willing to serve on our board and attend conventions.
We thank those who continue to faithfully support our organization and its work, including distribution to our members of the magazine, Thy Kingdom Come.
CONVENTION NEWS:
Our joint convention with the BIWF-Canada was held in Toronto on September 26 through 28 (Friday through Sunday) at the Toronto BIWF headquarters. We were represented by our President and First Vice-President. Everyone enjoyed the various messages presented by our speakers: Pastor Alan Campbell from Northern Ireland, J.S. Brooks, Douglas Nesbit, and Kent Purvis. Copies of the messages given will shortly be available on CD and DVD; contact us for information. Most of the meetings were held at BIWF-Canada headquarters, where several areas were refurbished for the convention. We also enjoyed the luncheons provided by the ladies and the delicious banquet dinner provided this year. We hope that you can be with us next year.
We hope that this newsletter finds you all in good health. We wish everyone blessings for the new year as we put our hope and trust in God in these perilous times!
Sincerely,
Mary F. Bennett, President
